These self-locking fasteners have a nylon element and strong, knurled collar that are useful for repeat locking torque when fastening to thin metal panels. The hexagonal locking feature is highly reusable and minimizes the risk of thread damage on the mating screw. Our self-clinching lock nuts, provide excellent locking threads in panels as thin as 0.040" (1mm).

The installation process for our self-clinching locking nuts is simple and efficient. As the knurled collar is embedded into the sheet, the fastener becomes captivated as displaced sheet material fills the undercut cavity beneath the collar.

PLC self-locking fastenrs come in Stainless Steel and are Passivated.
