Self-clinching concealed head studs achieve strong, reusable threads while maintaining a flawless exterior appearance of the enclosure. These studs can be permanently mounted in thin metal sheets as thin as .062" without compromising their structural integrity.

By utilizing a hollow punch and solid anvil to install the concealed head studs into a blind milled hole, a permanent mounting solution is achieved that remains completely undetectable from the outside of the unit. The displaced sheet metal flows smoothly around the head and into the undercut, creating a secure and aesthetically pleasing attachment.
