FHLS STAINLESS STEEL THREADED

Self-clinching close to the edge of a panel flush head studs offer strong and reusable threads in panels as thin as 0.040" thick. These studs provide a visually appealing flush mount, as the head of the fastener is embedded into the panel during installation. The smaller head configuration prevents distortion and bulging of the panel, ensuring a neat appearance. Once installed, the self-clinching stud becomes securely captivated in the panel, offering impressive push out and torque out values.

These fasteners offer a cost-effective installation process, easily accomplished using a press. The displaced metal smoothly and evenly flows around the ribs and into the annular groove, resulting in a flush head assembly that securely locks the stud into the sheet. One of the key advantages is that when installing the complementary fastener, there is no need for additional tools to prevent the self-clinching stud from rotating within the panel. The fastener itself becomes an integral part of the assembly.

FHL (flush low-displacement head) Studs install closer to the edge of a sheet than FH/FHS studs. Type FHLS is recommended for use in steel or aluminum sheets.
